Linda Hunyar is the owner of Edge Media Consulting LLC, a full service media firm. The firm provides strategic planning, analysis and buying for its clients in all forms of print, broadcast, outdoor and digital media. Linda’s 30+ years of experience has provided media strategy and implementation for dozens of clients ranging from B2B, hospitality, healthcare, financial, real estate, banking and entertainment. Her attention to detail and negotiation skills provide her clients with successful media campaigns.
In addition to the negotiation of media time, she also includes add-on promotions, value added no charge spots, trafficking services, monitoring of spot schedules and the post analysis of placement. Many clients find this hands-on approach beneficial to the effectiveness of their campaign. As a small business owner, Linda is keenly interested in making sure that every effort and dollar are effectively utilized and maximized.
Linda has also been asked to provide in-house media strategy and execution for many local advertising and public relations firms. Responsibilities have included working as media director, providing strategic planning services, recruitment of media personnel and optimization of billing procedures to ensure efficient media campaigns.
Prior to starting her own firm, Linda held executive positions at three local advertising agencies. In addition to developing creative and innovative media strategies, she was part of the management team tasked to bring in new business. During her tenure at Franklin Stoorza, she was a finalist for San Diego Woman Who Mean Business award by the San Diego Business Journal.
